PXPequea [peck-way] Machine Inc. fue fundada por un Amish local que quería secar su heno más rápido. El comenzó a construir un aireador tedder (el precursor de los modelos 710 y 910) en su granja localizada a lo largo del arroyo Pequea en el Valle de Pequea en Gordonville, condado de Lancaster, en Pennsylvania

 

Era una creencia local, desde hace mucho tiempo, que Pequea es un nombre americano nativo, que fue bruscamente traducido a "Flecha Recta", de ahi el logo de Pequea con el diseño de una flecha.

 

En 1990 Dennis Skibo fue a Pequea a ayudar a administrar las ventas y la comercialización. En 1992 Skibo compró la compañía. En el 2001 a la compañía se le quedó pequeño sus 37,000 pies cuadrados y se mudaron a su actual instalacion de 100,000 pies cuadrados en New Holland, PA.

 

Pequea ahora ha desarrollado 4 grupos de productos: Equipos Agrícolas, Trailers, Productos de Césped y Astillas de Madera Comercial. Pequea ha crecido de una compañía pequeña con clientes locales, a una compania de tamaño mediano con concesionarios y distribuidores a través de América del Norte y partes de Europa. Pequea está destinada a ser un modelo de negocio familiar y amistoso mezclado con innovación y crecimiento. Pequea, tradición en progreso.
